Welcome to NILPS 2006

March 15-16-17, 2006

As in previous years, we will be in the Henderson Convention Center, located at 200 South Water Street in downtown Henderson, Nevada. The site at the convention center provides plenty of free parking for all and a handy loading ramp.

Awards

There will be many awards for display winners and runners-up in each category receiving handsome plaques. The categories are:

Roy Carson Memorial Best of Show (1st place award)
Best Single Plate (1st and 2nd place awards)
Best Passenger Run (1st and 2nd place awards)
Best Non-Passenger Run (1st and 2nd place awards)
Best Foreign Display (1st and 2nd place awards)
People's Choice (1st place award)
Bartholomew Award for Best Topical Display (1st and 2nd place awards)
Long Distance Award (North America)
Long Distance Award (World)

Wednesday, March 15
6:00 pm - 9:00 pm Casino Fun Night and Buffet Dinner at the Fiesta Henderson

Thursday, March 16
7:30 am - 7:30 pm Open Trading at the Convention Center

Friday, March 17
7:30 am - 1:00 pm Open Trading
1:00 pm - 4:00 pm Donation Auction
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm Awards Ceremony
5:00 pm - 6:30 pm Open Trading
6:30 pm - 7:30 pm Packing and Departure

Convention Hall Policies

All registered members and guests will be given a laminated name tag. Each member who registers will receive one pass and one guest pass included with the member's admission, so a spouse or family member can come and go from the convention hall. Each person admitted with a member after the first guest will be charged a $10.00 entry fee. All guests must register and wear name tags. NILPS convention name tags must be worn at all times by everyone in the hall.
