Welcome to the ALPCA Silver State Region Website. We hope you enjoy spending some time at our website.   Even better, please plan now to attend our next  annual convention in Primm, Nevada, March 18-21, 2009.  In 2009 we will move to Primm, Nevada, a short 35 miles south of the Las Vegas Strip at the CA and Nevada border on Interstate 15.  This will be the biggest and best license plate convention in the West in 2009.   

The Silver State region of ALPCA is dedicated to license plate hobbyists. While we are deeply rooted in the State of Nevada our attendees arrive from North and South America and around the world year after year. The Silver State meet is not to be missed. This is the second largest license plate meet held annually.

Every year in March, the Silver State Region of ALPCA hosts the best 3 day license plate meet in the country, certainly the Best in the West. In 2009 we will move 35 miles south of the Las Vegas Strip to Primm, Nevada. We have three host hotels from which to choose; with rates as low as $28.95 per night. Each year more than 200 collectors from as far away as Australia, Europe, North and South America, gather to buy, sell, and trade license plates of all kinds, shapes, colors, and sizes.

Nevada Plate Project

It is an idea brought forward that we think worth pursuing. The Silver State region would like to have on our website, a chronological listing and photograph of each Nevada plate every issued. This would be valuable from both a historical and a collectors perspective and make a great addition to our website.

Paul DeBelling has submitted a number of plates for this project and we are grateful for his efforts in contributing a complete set of 1920 and 1930's plates and more!
